Appearance:: Jester has the usual coloration of a Doberman, stripes on legs, pencil markings, and tar heels. Fur is hued only two different colors, tan and black, and eyes are a rich golden-brown with darker brown rings around his pupils.
Scars dominate the male’s pelt, occasional patches of fur missing, and all from the abuse of his cruel owner. The most noticeable scars though, are the slice at the ends of his lips, going up to make a twisted grin, forever on his face and thus giving him his alias “Jester”. They were given to him a time a muzzle was put on improperly, tightened far too much, and left on for almost a month. Another reminder of his past would be the many small indents that go around in a circle around his neck, from when his spiked choke-chain was roughly used on him.
The body structure of the male is just like any Dobermans, aside the fact that he is extremely thin, the consequences of running to live the life of a stray. Jester stands the average 27 inches at the shoulder, but weighs only 55 pounds. Ribs are easily viewed through the sleek, clinging pelt, showing just how little he gets to eat. Ears have been cropped and tail has been docked, the painful process still etched in the dog’s mind.
