One Paragraph Overview:With a dog like Reno, the question is where to start with him. Well, probably the bad since it's short. Reno is a selfish, self-preserving canine. He'll do anything to keep himself alive but he may come up short when it comes to helping others. To get Reno to endanger his own life for the sake of another, that other dog had better be damn important.
Now that that's over, on to the more positive or at least lighter side of Reno. Reno is a cocky, confident as hell, prove-it-to-me son of a gun that doesn't know when to shut his mouth. He talks the talk and sometimes stumbles on the walk but he'll do anything to prove he can do anything you can do. He doesn't do it to be rude, just because he likes a challenge. Reno is confident because he likes to make things turn out his way and believes he will never lose as long as he can tweak the outcomes. Because he runs head first into fights and challenges, he tends to be considered quite stupid. That is where everyone is wrong. Considered dumb because he tends to think only of himself and doesn't stop to think before he leaps, that is his secret weapon because in reality, Reno is insanely smart. He looks at things and analytically decides if they may endanger him. If the chances are high that it will, he'll leave. The thing is though, his self-centeredness blinds dogs to the fact that he does little things for them, little things that might make a difference without him winding up dead. For example, he may refuse to fight for the honor of a femme but then knock over a pile of boxes onto the attacker so the femme can run.
Yes, if it doesn't cost him his own, he'll do anything for you. A best friend to new strays, he enjoys showing them the ropes of street life and has no problem befriending them because he doesn't shut his trap. He talks until others get used to him and eventually they like or at least tolerate him.
