The park at night seemed like a better place to find teenagers causing problems and strays hiding in the darkness, though this house pet was out and about like almost every other night in her life in Cold Creek. Though the black femme was a house pet she was nothing like any house pet she’d ever heard of. Breeze or Bree as she preferred was more of a stray than a house pet, no humans loved her, pet her, brushed her or even cared for her really. Bree had one job and she knew it well, protect the house, don’t let anyone but certain humans in. The few humans she knew were the only ones almost safe near her house or yard. Though with it being the darkness of the night the femme snuck out of her yard for just a while, there were humans in the house working in the stinky basement she had never seen but only smelt before. They wouldn’t notice she was gone for a couple hours at least and that was all she really planned on being out for. Drug dealers were funny that way, they needed her to watch the house but didn’t really care for her or look out for her at all.
It had never mattered before if she had left or not, she had no idea what she was looking after, though surely if the house was raided while she was there or not she’d be out of a home for sure. Part of her knew if she got caught out of the yard she would be beaten, but those thoughts were shaken from the fae’s mind for the moment in time. Black figure roaming around in the darkness of the near midnight under the full moon green orbs glowed brightly as she walked around. The night was the only time this wolf hybrid could really get out of the house without bringing attention to herself, though all the humans knew someone in town owned the hybrid. The femme looked much more like a wolf than her domesticated breeding with only a shepherd. Her father a wolf, her mother a pure black German Shepherd it made the hybrid appear to be of more harm than she actually way. Surely the heart of this girl could be won over by the right human. Her long spiked leather adorned her neck like a bothered annoyance, though she had gotten used to it by now.
Quiet footsteps in the grass led the ebony femme to rocky terrain on to the playground on the park. Hoping up a couple perched to the top the large wolf hybrid found herself at the highest platform. Sitting at the top of a metal slide the femme bright green orbs staring out into the park. The femme knew if humans were around she had to run, though other canines could be dealt with in a variety of ways. The guard dog was prepared and alert like she always would be like at her house.

Hyperventilation came on quickly as the girl padded through the very center of the city. She had gotten lost, and she was sure of that now. Larka was nowhere to be seen. The girl silently chastised herself for following that little hare out of the woods. If I payed more attention, we wouldn’t get separated so often. I’m sorry Larka! This is all my fault… Night had come so rapidly, sneaking in without the slightest warning or sign that it was there, and only when Rakito was enveloped in darkness did she notice. It was warm out, and many entertaining fireflies flitting about, though she was too focused on her fear that she didn’t bother with them.
An unhappy frown scrunched charcoal lips as lithe frame was carried along, tapered paws making no sound as they were placed gently on the grass. Jade orbs danced about in their sockets as they quickly looked over every shadow and object, muscles tense and ready to send the girl shooting off and away should any danger suddenly appear. The young maned wolf hadn’t truly ever been in the city, and now despite her position, was very intrigued by all of the odd inventions that lay scattered about this plot of land. Cranium pivoted this way and that, orbs greedily sucking in the images of these new, foreign objects. For a moment, just a moment, Rakito forgot about her fright as she stared in wonder at an array of very large pieces placed on a different type of terrain. She was hastily reminded of what was happening though as she thought she saw something in the shadows move. Heart skipped a beat in her narrow chest and stilts jolted her into motion, throwing her light body onto the odd ground. A wary glance was shot towards the “moving” shadows to confirm that it was her imagination, and sights were set back onto the ground. It was like shredded tree, scattered about the earth to form a sort of padding.
Feet were picked up and placed down a few times before Rakito began to make her way to the larger structures. As she crept along, something caught the watchful eyes, and head was jerked up, body freezing. Breath was contained in in lungs, beating desperately to be let out as nothing was allowed to move. Maw hung slightly agape as the she-wolf stared up, fear spreading its icy grip to her muscles. An exhale finally came, though struggled to remain silent, and accompanying that air was a barely audible whisper, "Larka?" Though the girl greatly wished to call out louder, she couldn’t risk the chance of a human hearing. Boney pillars began to pull her towards the structure on which the other sat, near invisible, before she came to a halt at the bottom. Muzzle tilted upward to get a better look, a smile gracing lips. "La- eeee!" a high-pitched yelp of shock squeezed out of throat as she stumbled backwards. That wasn’t Larka! That was some scary canine with spikes coming out of its neck!!!

A new canine made its way into the park, though this wolf appeared more of a large fox than a wolf. The femme looked like she was in a bit of distress as Bree’s bright green orbs watched from her perch on the play ground. Erect black ears heard the fox like canine whisper, not the words that were spoken but the faint noise. As the red canine approached bright green orbs stared the new fox-wolf down. The fae seemed to be around the same height as the black hybrid, though Breeze clearly had double her weight. Her thick wolf like appearance shaded the German shepherd breeding in the dame’s veins. “I am not this canine you look for.” Bree’s rather cold voice spoke out into the darkness. White fangs visible along with her pink tongue as she spoke, a bit of the moon catching on these light features leaving her a face is the darkness.
Taking a rear paw and reaching up at an itch, paw moving quickly over the spiked leather collar. The dark leather collar was mostly hidden by the femme’s long black coat, though the bright silver spikes stood out and were moved over by her paw with every strike of her thick paw. The night was Breeze’s favourite time of day, she could almost hide in the darkness, though this fox had found her in the darkness. That was no big deal; this canine appeared more terrified than anything. Maybe the femme was a scary sight, but knew she was often used to scare the humans so terrifying was something she was supposed to be. The dame was used to that at least; being scary was what the stupid collar was all about, though she didn’t feel too terribly scary. Besides being a guard dog the wolf-dog knew no different.
Bree was very unsocialized and not sure what to do in a situation like this. This park was no technically the dame’s territory so it was not to be protected. Then again she wasn’t protecting her house from canines, only on a rare occasion. Humans were always the threat in her eyes, which was what they taught her, only few were to be trusted; then again trust was never the right word. Her humans were not nice people, nor were they cruel people. Maybe not in her eyes but to other’s for sure. She had been hit with the chain many times before and never thought it to be abuse. What did she know when that was all she was taught? Humans were to be feared, and those that did not wish to be feared were just as bad. The black dame had had a run in with police officers once, shooting her with rubberized bullets that had bruised quite a bit. Though her owners had gotten her back and she was back at home in no time back to her normal routine.

Larka was running through the woods frightened. Her long, stilt like, legs and slim muscular build allowed her to run faster than most other canines out there. However, even though she desperately wanted to, she was not running as fast as she could. She knew she couldn’t run that fast because if she did, she might miss what she was looking for. Her lost sister. Normally, her and her sister would never be separated. They depended on each other and, because they were abandoned as pups, they are closer than most wolf siblings were. However, earlier in the day, on a hunt, Ratiko had ran after a rabbit and gotten them separated. As soon as Larka realized her sister was not with her, she took off through the woods in search of her. However, she hadn’t had any luck so far on finding her.
Larka continued to run and look for her sister for a long while before stopping to catch her breath. When she stopped, her lungs were grasping for air. This was the fastest she had run in a while. After she finally caught her breath, Larka looked in front of her to see where she was. Since she was running and searching, she hadn’t really been paying attention to her surroundings and therefore, had no idea where she was. In front of her stood a large open area. When she took a closer look, she saw that this place had several large pieces of what looked like equipment. Though she wasn’t sure what they were exactly. After looking around for a few more minutes, she stepped forwards into the open fields. She stood of the middle of the field was she was and slowly did a complete scan of the surrounding area. Though it wasn’t until her second time looking around that she spotted something. It looked like…wait..It was!!!
“RAKITO!!” Larka barked running forwards recognizing her sister. She ran as fast as she could over to her sister, her tail wagging furiously. However, she skidded to stop as she reached her. “Don’t ever do that again!” She growled at her sister. “You scared me, I know you know I don’t like being separated from you. What if something would have happened? Then what? I would blame myself if anything had happened to you. And we should never, ever, be this close to the city” She continued to growl. She was the bigger of the two and the protector of both of them. She always seemed to take responsibility of her sister and she would never forgive herself if anything would have happened to her. She reached forward and bit the nape of her sister. Not hard to enough to break skin but hard enough to at least hurt a little.

Satellite-like auds tilted forwards, perked to take in any of the slightest sound this scary dog monster made. A worried frown had fixed itself to angelic features as the girl took a few more cautious steps back, vocals finally reaching her ears. No, this definitely wasn’t Larka, she knew that for sure. Larka was much nicer, and didn’t have spikes protruding from her neck! Narrow maw parted slightly, and gentle tones spoke quietly, "O-oh, I’m sorry… I… I’ll be leaving now."
As wiry frame began to pivot to make an exit, a loud shout caused her to leap into the air, the chill of a sudden fright jarring her spine yet again. Brain took a moment to register just who was standing in front of her, though lenses brought the image to it immediately. It was no more than a similar-colored blur shooting towards her, but it was still noticed as none other than her older sister."Larka!!!" she howled, rearing into the air before launching herself forward, oblivious to the fact that her sister was still upset. Lids slipped over jade orbs as Rakito buried her face within the soft furs of her sibling. "You scared me too! I know, I know, but I got lost!" voice whined, joy bubbling over within it. Any air of anger that hovered around Larka was disregarded with ease by the younger girl, sickening amounts of delight overpowering itAnother nuzzle was given to Larka, and a swift lick delivered to her large ear, when the younger femme noticed they still had company.
Grin and happy whines disappeared as skull was slowly turned to stare warily at the monster atop the human-structure. "Uhh, Larka? There’s a… spook over there…" wide eyes were turned to the older female, knowing that she would know what the word meant. All her life, Rakito had used the word to describe things that frightened her, which, the older sister often promptly made go away. The girl knew that she would never be able to survive a day without her sibling, whether her death be of depression, fright, or getting hurt. Larka was her protector, the light that chased away all of the shadows.

Larka was only mad at her younger sister for about only a brief second before she was overtaken with both joy and relief. She could not imagine how she could have stayed mad longer than she did. Especially with her younger sister nuzzling her, whining happily, and licking her. There was no she could have stayed mad. So as she released the nape of her sister, she began to nuzzle her back in return barking excitedly. She licked her sisters muzzle before getting quiet again. “Just promise me you will never run off again.” Larka said as seriously as she could. After saying this, the she wolf licked her sister once again. All her searching and frantic running and worrying had paid off, thankfully.
Larka was about to nuzzle Rakito once more when the younger sister looked at the humans’ equipment. Larka was trying to follow her line of sight to see what she was looking at when Rakito looked at her and spoke. “Uhh, Larka? There’s a… Spook over there…” Rakito said with fear in her voice looking at Larka. Larka was already listening to Rakito however, as her younger sister said the word “spook”. Larka’s ear’s jerked forwards, and she growled quietly, Larka knew this word very well seeing as her little sister used it all the time growing up. Larka knew it meant her sister had spotted something and was afraid of it. She also knew that this was the time for Larka to kick into her protective, bigger sister, mode and make what ever it was Rakito called a spook to go away. “Really? Stay here then and I’ll go see” Larka growled her normal response for whenever her sister said that.
Before Larka went over to the equipment, she raised her tail to show dominance and began growling. She made her way over to where the equipment was in long strides which was easy for her to do because of her long legs. When she got closer to the equipment, she began to slow her pace, looking around trying to spot what her sister had seen. It wasn’t however until she took a few more strides that she actually saw what her sister had seen. Sitting up on one the pieces of equipment was a black dog. Larka instantly started growling again as she saw the black dog’s spiked collar. She really didn’t like the sight of another dog. Especially a city dog and one wearing a weird spiked collar thing. As she continued to growl, the fur on her back began to rise.
