Appearance:: Standing 23 inches at the shoulder, Degree is about as average as a Dalmatian can get. He weighs in at fifty to fifty-five pounds depending on the season and is more or less normal as far as he knows. Painted white at birth, his pelt burst out in spots by the time he was a few weeks old. Now as a mature adult his pelt is spattered with black spots as if someone took an old fashioned ink pen and splattered him with it. The black for him is concentrated on his neck and ears and then becomes more evenly distributed as it goes down his body. The fur itself is very short meaning Degree hates the winter despite his nickname "Sub Zero". Get to know him well enough and you'll understand that Sub-Zero is the face he shows the world until he knows you won't double cross or hurt him.

Perhaps the most unusual thing about Sub-Zero is that he has no major scars. Most strays scrap a lot by the time they're his age and don't get him wrong, he's fought, but he seems to be pretty good at healing cleanly. A tall slender canine, Degree is fast when it comes to running over flat ground and he loves to do it. For him, running is a must. Muscular limbs keep this brute on top of the lot. He might not be the most flashy of brutes but Degree can get the job done.
